Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license, valid in Kansas or compact state
• Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Familiarity with high-acuity cardiac surgical procedures
• Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for cardiovascular surgery patients
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient status in the CVOR setting
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to rigorous safety standards
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced staff as needed
