Note Applicants must be licensed to practice law in California and have 2+ years of litigation experience in insurance coverage litigation and/or complex commercial litigation. Job Description Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution. Analyze insurance policies and complex coverage issues. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents. Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies. Handle written discovery and motion practice. Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts. Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings. Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance. Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on complex litigation matters. Mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff as appropriate. Qualifications Active California Bar license required. 2+ years of litigation experience in insurance coverage litigation and/or complex commercial litigation. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and briefs. Deposition and courtroom experience preferred. Insurance coverage or policyholder-side litigation experience highly preferred. Construction-related insurance or construction defect experience is a plus. Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
