All Star Healthcare is representing a facility in Connecticut seeking Hematology/Oncology locum tenens coverage.

Assignment Details

Reason for Coverage:

3-month maternity leave Dates of Coverage:

September - December 2026 Travel:

Providers must be local; mileage reimbursement only CT license required Practice Setting

Schedule:

4 days outpatient (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) Clinic hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM On-call responsibilities included

Call Schedule:

1:3 rotation Weeknight call Weekend call: Friday 4:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM

Patient Population

Adult and geriatric patients (primarily) Case Mix

Hematology: 60% Oncology: 40% Internal Medicine: 0% Clinical Responsibilities

Outpatient and inpatient hematology and oncology care Participation in tumor board Ordering tests and imaging Prescribing treatments Practice Details

Physician Team:

3 physicians (one on maternity leave) Advanced Practice Providers:

2 APPs Radiation Oncology:

Available on-site Average Daily Volume:

Outpatient: 15-16 patients Inpatient (rounding/call): ~1-5 patients
