TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is currently recruiting for an Operations Project Lead to join the Heavy Transportation division. This role will be based out of Shippensburg, PA.. The starting salary for this exempt level role is currently $65,000 - $70,000 per year.Overall PurposeThe Operations Project Lead is responsible for driving operational projects from concept to successful deployment, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational objectives. This role serves as the central point of coordination for project activities, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and quality. Acting as a first responder to project and facility issues, the Operations Project Lead provides rapid resolution to minimize disruptions while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. With flexibility to support evolving priorities, this position ensures timely job deployment and fosters collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence. Frequent travel required.  Reports toDirect: Director of Operations Indirect: General Manager ResponsibilitiesLead projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.Coordinate communication among internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain project clarity.Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk mitigation.Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions to meet quality and delivery targets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless execution.Prepare and present project status reports to leadership, highlighting progress and recommendations.Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.Respond promptly to urgent project or facility concerns to minimize operational disruptions.Lead quality inspection activities for incoming, in-process, and final product verification to ensure customer and internal specifications are met.Ensure calibration status and proper utilization of inspection and measurement equipment.Coordinate containment, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and verification activities related to nonconforming material.Review inspection results, quality trends, and defect data to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction.Other duties as assignedJob Skills & Competencies Strong project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners.Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.High adaptability and problem-solving skills to manage evolving priorities and urgent operational challenges.Strong understanding of quality inspection methodologies, product verification processes, and defect identification.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, control plans, and customer quality requirements.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Hard SkillsValues & AttitudesMust be able to speak and read in English languageGood communications skillsMust be able to multi-taskAbility to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle sensitive and confidential materialMust have reliable transportationProficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet).Data analysis and performance tracking expertise.Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and process optimization.Understanding of safety, regulatory, and quality compliance standards.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.Experience using precision measurement equipment and inspection tools.Knowledge of quality inspection techniques, auditing principles, and defect classification.Proficiency with quality software, data collection systems, and reporting tools.Global team spiritTeam playerCaring for peopleOpen- mindedExcellenceReactiveResilient to pressureRigorousCustomer focusCustomer orientedReliable & trustworthyFlexibleInitiativeAutonomousInnovativeDaringWork Experience Overall RecommendationsMinimum 5 years of experience in project management, operations, or related roles, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering results.Track record of developing and executing detailed project plans, including performance monitoring and reporting to leadership. Experience leading or supporting quality inspection operations, containment activities, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Experience utilizing precision measurement equipment and interpreting technical drawings to verify product conformance.Education Background Overall RecommendationsBachelor 's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
