Tax Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Tax Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $80.00 to $100.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage corporate tax filings across federal, state, and international jurisdictions and ensure accurate and timely submissions.
• Coordinate with external advisors on preparation and review of returns and related schedules.
• Support quarterly and annual tax provision work and assist with financial statement disclosures.
• Oversee transfer pricing documentation and intercompany policies and align practices with global rules.
• Partner with business teams on transactions and new initiatives and assess tax implications and risks.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced credentials.
• 5+ years of corporate tax experience with exposure to both advisory and in house settings.
• Strong background in federal, state, and international compliance and provision processes.
• Experience with transfer pricing, transaction support, and tax risk assessment.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Ability to interpret changing tax rules and translate them into practical guidance for the business.
• Familiarity with equity and payroll related tax topics and comfort partnering with people and legal teams.
• Proven collaboration with accounting, FP&A, and audit teams to support reviews and requests.
• Organized and detail focused with sound judgment and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in global or fast growing environments and comfort aligning to set business hours when needed.
