Automotive Dealership Coster

The Role

We're looking for a detail-driven Coster to join our dealership office team. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for reviewing and finalizing vehicle deals before they are booked, ensuring everything is accurate from deal structure and commissions to profit analysis and backend products. If you're organized, comfortable with numbers, and understand how dealership accounting works, this is your chance to play a key part in our success.

What You'll Do

• Review & Finalize Deals: Verify deal jackets for accuracy, including pricing, commissions, trade values, and finance products.
• Gross Profit Analysis: Ensure proper gross is booked on each deal in line with dealership expectations.
• Costing Process: Apply all costs (vehicle, packs, warranties, accessories, etc.) and confirm the final structure matches approved deal worksheets.
• Compliance Checks: Ensure deals meet compliance standards including signatures, disclosures, and proper documentation.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with sales managers, F&I, and accounting to clarify and resolve deal discrepancies.
• Manage Cancellations: Handle the processing of finance product cancellations, verifying documentation and updating account balances accordingly.
• Reporting & Support: Assist with daily and weekly deal flow tracking and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience
  • 13 years in a dealership office or F&I support role
  • Familiarity with deal jackets, DMS systems (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.)
• Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid understanding of deal structure and profitability
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
