PowerCenter/IICS ETL Developer

Job Title
Technical Requirements:
- Designing and development of Informatica PowerCenter ETL, developing complex transformations.
- Excellent skills in SQL and PL/SQL Stored procedures, packages and functions using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Design, develop, validate and deploy the Informatica ETL processes using Informatica data integration and data quality tools.
- Excellent analysis, debugging and troubleshooting skills, performance tuning and problem solving required.
- Experience in creating SCD Types mappings and Datawarehouse concepts to build the Datawarehouse.
- Must have ability to develop complex Informatica ETL mappings and workflows extracting data from various heterogeneous source systems like Flat files, XML, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, SAP Systems and Web services.
- Experience in preparing test scripts and test cases to validate data and maintaining data quality
- Using Informatica PowerCenter created mappings and mapplets defining the transformation logic according to the business rules for the loads.
- Experience in Unix shell and Python scripting.
- Experience in IICS mapping task, task and task flow
- Deep knowledge on installation of secure agents, configuring agent server, encryption, and authentication protocols in different Informatica cloud services, recommending optimal values for task level
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter and IICS Development skills.
- Extensive experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL SQL and PLSQL (PG/PLSQL) Coding.
- Experience in conversion of ETL mappings from Oracle to Postgres.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members, support personnel, and provide technical guidance and expertise to customers and management.
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a self-directed work environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
