Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Site Located in the Region. This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department. The role requires flexibility, critical thinking, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet the needs of patients requiring urgent and emergent care.

Job Details

• Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Adult Emergency Department
• Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
• Shift Details: 12-Hour Days (7 a.m. 7:30 p.m.), 36 Hours per Week, Variable Days, with weekends and holidays required
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC certification, a minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience, recent experience at an academic medical center or a Level I or Level II Trauma Center in a major metropolitan area, minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience, recent Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience, and recent employment in a similar high-volume emergency environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Important Notes: Must be open to floating; flexibility is essential for this role. Unplanned Time Off (UTO) may result in contract cancellation if missed shifts are not made up. No local candidates are permitted; a 50.5-mile radius rule applies, and no RTO is permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment. A maximum of 10 days of RTO is allowed for the 13-week assignment.
• Submission Requirements: Recent EMR experience clearly listed, no employment gaps exceeding 30 days without explanation, work history with facility type, EMR, and bed count, and a minimum of one professional reference dated within the last 12 months.
• Testing Requirements: Successful completion of a specialty-specific competency exam and an EKG exam, including rhythm interpretation, with a minimum score of 80%. All candidates must identify lethal rhythms with 100% accuracy.
