Responsibilities Sign On Bonus Options up to $15,000 for Full Time Candidates: The Registered Nurse (RN), under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, provides physical assessments of residents, implements resident's treatment plan, evaluates response to treatment, provides complete documentation, performs physical restraint assessments, administers medications as prescribed and provides health care education for residents and families. The RN supervises the daily duties of the Mental Health Techs and LPN staff, and assures that all residents are maintained in a safe environment. Performs duties in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, and facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards. Shift Availability Full Time 36hr/wk 12hr Shifts 7pm-7:30am Location Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital (a UHS facility) Provides inpatient and residential treatment services for youth ages 5-17, as well as inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for adults ages 18+. Strong Computer skills Excellent Communication skills Strong Leadership skills Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other hazardous waste Ideal Candidate Dependable, empathetic, compassionate and must be reliable.
