Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in the Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will be a proactive change agent who champions Agile principles, fosters collaboration across cross-functional teams, and drives continuous improvement to deliver high-quality outcomes. This role requires a hands-on professional who can effectively manage multiple initiatives, remove impediments, and guide teams toward achieving their goals while maintaining alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and Scrum of Scrums.
• Partner closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Drive team performance by leveraging Agile methodologies, metrics, and continuous improvement practices.
• Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth sprint execution.
• Monitor team progress using dashboards and metrics, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and conduct regular team assessments.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to enhance communication and eliminate silos.
• Provide transparency on risks, blockers, and dependencies to leadership stakeholders.
• Support quarterly planning activities aligned with strategic objectives and business roadmaps.
• Maintain Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence) and ensure data accuracy and reporting.
• Participate in release management processes, including change requests and deployment monitoring.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and ensure effective communication across all levels.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master with project management experience.
• Strong experience in the Financial Services domain.
• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, Scrum principles, and ceremonies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience facilitating collaboration across complex organizational structures.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remove impediments efficiently.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Wealth Management, Data, Analytics, or related financial systems.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• Experience with release and change management processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
