• Friday - Saturday, 7 am - 7 am -- 48-hour shift
• 20 patients seen per 24 hours -- 10 phone consults
• General surgery setting -- adult and trauma coverage
• Laparoscopic surgery required -- appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty
• Chest wall, pleural procedures, and chest tube insertion required
• GI endoscopy required -- upper, lower, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy
• Vascular surgery required -- aneurysm repairs, arterial bypass
• Pediatric surgery skills preferred
