We are seeking a creative, compassionate, and organized Activities Director to lead and develop engaging programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.Position SummaryThe Activities Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive activity program that meets the social, recreational, and therapeutic needs of our residents in accordance with federal, state, and facility guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a monthly activities calendar that meets resident interests and needsCoordinate group and one-on-one activities, including special events and outingsComplete resident assessments and care plan documentation related to activitiesEnsure compliance with state regulations (including Title 22) and facility policiesSupervise and train activities staff and volunteersMaintain activity supplies, equipment, and budgetCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident engagementEncourage resident participation and promote a positive, inclusive environmentQualificationsPrevious experience in activities programming in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferredMust meet California Title 22 requirements for Activities Director (or eligible)Activity Director Certification (ADC) or willingness to obtain preferredStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional holidaysCompassionate, energetic, and resident-focused approachBenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offOpportunities for growth and advancementSupportive and team-oriented environmentWhy Join Loma Linda Post Acute?At Loma Linda Post Acute, we believe activities are essential to resident well-being.
