SHIFT: Working Monday & Wednesday 8:00AM - 4:30PM + Working Friday 11:00AM - 4:30PM (May Work Additional Hours Depending On The Day)

Hourly Rate: $15.35/hr (ALL INCLUSIVE)

At Port Warwick Enhanced Senior Living , we believe that safe, reliable transportation is essential to supporting resident independence, access to care, and overall quality of life. Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence , the Van Driver is responsible for transporting residents to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations safely, courteously, and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities for Van Driver:

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and approved destinations in facility vehicles.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle as needed while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and operational vehicle in accordance with facility and safety standards.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility transportation policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain timely transportation schedules and communicate any delays or concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Provide courteous and respectful interaction with residents, families, staff, and medical providers.
• Ensure resident safety and well-being during all phases of transport.

Qualifications for Van Driver:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.
• Must have a clean driving record and demonstrate safe driving practices.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience transporting patients to and from medical appointments required.
• Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents, families, staff, and the public.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Strong desire to work with and support the elderly population.
