About the Role The Clinical Manager is a working clinical leader who carries a caseload, runs groups, and still has the bandwidth to support the clinicians around them. This role sits between the Clinical Director and direct service staff, and it’s built for someone who is energized by both the clinical work and the operational side of keeping programs running well. You’ll own your programs, supervise provisionally licensed staff, and be a key part of how we maintain quality and consistency across our services. This position requires in-person presence at the Minneapolis office a minimum of two days per week. In limited circumstances, a fully remote arrangement may be considered based on organizational structure and existing team coverage at the time of hire. What You’ll Own Caseload & Direct Clinical Services Carry an active caseload, providing individual, group, and family therapy to clients with sexual offending or problematic sexual behaviors which could include psychoeducation, reunification support, case management, and other ancillary services as needed for client success Conduct diagnostic assessments and use findings to inform individualized treatment planning Monitor client progress and provide timely written and verbal updates to referral agencies, courts, and internal stakeholders Maintain professional correspondence with external partners including probation agents and the courts Intake & Census Management Conduct weekly census reviews across programs, tracking group and individual therapy openings, waitlists, start dates, and completions Maintain ongoing updates to the census on a daily basis as client status changes Lead weekly team meetings, facilitating case consultations, guiding placement decisions, and documenting staffing decisions on complex cases Maintain the weekly intake tracking spreadsheet to ensure accurate documentation of placement timelines, intake decisions, and treatment planning progress Provide clients with start dates and waitlist status, ensuring smooth and timely movement through programming Clinical Supervision & Staff Development Provide clinical supervision and oversight to provisionally licensed clinicians in compliance with Minnesota licensing board requirements Support supervisees in developing a supervision plan for their licensing board within the first 90 days of employment Maintain accurate records of supervision hours and supervision notes for those under licensure supervision Provide training, job supervision, and professional development support to assigned clinical staff Assist in coordinating practicum students and interns as needed Program Operations Ensure the day-to-day operation of assigned clinical programming, including adequate staffing and program efficacy Implement program design consistent with the organization’s logic model, current research, and best practices Identify and recommend improvements to programming in collaboration with the Clinical Director and Executive Director Attend internal meetings and trainings as required and represent the organization at professional events as needed What You Bring Credentials & Experience Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field Independent licensure in Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or equivalent) MN State Board Supervisor certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire Minimum two years of relevant post-licensure clinical experience Experience working with justice-involved populations preferred Familiarity with ATSA guidelines and evidence-based practices in sexual offending treatment Ability to pass organizational background check requirements Clinical & Operational Skills Strong documentation skills with consistent attention to timeliness and accuracy Ability to carry a caseload while maintaining supervisory and operational responsibilities Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, staff, and external partners Comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder situations with professionalism and clarity Organized and reliable; deadlines matter and follow-through is non-negotiable Who You Are A clinician first.
