Injection Molding Engineer

One of our large medical device manufacturing companies is seeking an Injection Molding Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for:
- Supporting development, validation, and optimization of injection molds and components in a regulated medical manufacturing environment.
- Support new product launches and troubleshoot current production challenges.
- Conduct mold validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) to meet FDA and ISO 13485 standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Tooling, Manufacturing) to ensure manufacturability.
- Analyze molding issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
The average pay for this role is between $40-45hr.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in injection molding process development and mold debugging.
- Knowledge of thermoplastics, mold design, and injection molding equipment.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- RJG Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
- Master Molder certification or Scientific Molding training.
