Waste Treatment Plant Operator III- Nights

Job Overview The Waste Treatment Plant Operator maintains and operates the plant Waste Water Treatment Plant to meet the required discharge requirements. Job Responsibilities • Perform all required laboratory tests necessary to meet regulations and operating parameters. • Evaluate operating data and make necessary changes to ensure that the plant meets discharge limits. • Make necessary process adjustments to ensure WWTP discharge limits are met. • Operate solids concentrating system and transport concentrated solids to designated location. • Maintain all necessary records for the WWTP. • Work with necessary chemicals used at the WWTP plant. • Maintain company confidentiality. • All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures. • All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program. • Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager. The pay for this position is $26.05 - $26.60. All offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees and certifications, and internal equity. This range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations.Required Education and Experience

• 2-years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to make decisions based on in-process results.
• Ability to add subtract multiply and divide.
• Maintain a Class B driver’s license.
• Ability to attend WWTP training seminars.
• Basic understanding of waste biological treatment process.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Education and Experience High School diploma or GED. Waste water treatment operator license. SAP experience.
