The Position: We are searching for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our team at our Columbia, MD office. This position is an in-office role and reports directly to the Director of Operations. The Logistics Specialist performs receiving and shipping activity, coordinates with production planning, manages material flow and supports daily production operations to ensure customer orders are completed on time and accurately. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs. What You’ll Do: Receive incoming materials, verify accuracy, and maintain inventory count Support processing of warranty and repair of products under support. Manage shipping and logistics for outgoing products Coordinate with production and project teams to manage priorities Manage the control, identification and disposition of non-conforming material and customer property Manage non-inventory production material Identify opportunities to improve scheduling, inventory accuracy, and workflow efficiency Manage material preservation controls for shelf-life, ESD and also packing standards. Who You Are: 5 years of experience in logistics coordination and warehouse operations Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems Strong organization and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Experience with production planning (preferred) Experience with import/export logistics controls (preferred) Experience with lean manufacturing or process improvement methods (preferred) Familiarity with warranty or after-sales coordination (preferred) Perks and Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, vacation time, sick time and floating holidays Opportunities for professional growth and development A collaborative and inclusive work environment Pay Range: The expected annual salary range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 Frequentis Defense, Inc. is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
