This flexible opportunity offers a 20-30 hour weekly schedule near beautiful Long Beach, CA. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in California
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
- Ability to manage caseload independently and organize effective treatment sessions
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and special education procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop customized treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff to integrate therapy into students' school routines
- Maintain accurate records of services and progress, preparing reports for meetings and compliance
- Engage families in the therapy process through regular updates and involvement in planning
- Support educational initiatives and professional development related to occupational therapy services
