Job Description

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Occupational Medicine in Newport News, VA. This is a locum position with competitive salary and travel allowance..Job Details:Start Date: February 7, 2025, with ongoing needs.Reason for Coverage: To support two full-time providers during time off or vacancies.Practice Setting: Occupational Health.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to close (typically 4:30 PM, but may extend due to walk-in injuries).Average Patients Per Day: 8-10.EMR System: Systoc.Exam Rooms: 5.On-Site Team: Includes RNs, RTs, MAs, LPN, RN Supervisor, Office Manager, and PSRs.Required Duties:Pre-Employment Physicals.Return-to-Duty Testing.DOT Physicals.Workers' compensation injury care.Pay and Benefits:$70 - $85 per Hour with Malpractice InsuranceTravel Reimbursement:~$150/night lodging cap.Requirements:Board Certification: Required.Licensure: Active Virginia license required.Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DOT certification required.Availability: Must be noted at the time of submission, with preference for providers who can cover all dates.About Us:Vivo HealthStaff is a healthcare staffing company based in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing clinical recruitment and staffing services to healthcare organizations across the United States.
