Polysomnographic Technician

Schedule: Full-Time, Nights Polysomnographic Technician (BRPT) As a Polysomnographic Technician, you will provide care for patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment. Essential Responsibilities Provide care for patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment. Prepare for the arrival of the patient by setting up and preparing the equipment for the ordered test. Interview patients to determine sleep disorder issues and explain testing procedures. Perform testing and any additional testing required for sleep disorder that is noted. Score, interpret, and report results of sleep studies. Educate patients about test results, sleep disorders, community support groups, and available resources. Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and report needed repairs and replacements. Maintain proper supplies to care for patients.
