Workers' Compensation Associate AttorneyA growing law firm is seeking a motivated and dedicated Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join its legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about advocating for clients, developing their litigation skills, and building a long-term career in workers' compensation law.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of workers' compensation matters from inception through resolution.Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences.Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and medical providers.Develop case strategies and negotiate favorable settlements.Monitor case deadlines and maintain accurate and organized files.Handle multiple matters efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment.Provide responsive and professional client service throughout the life of each case.QualificationsActive license to practice law in California.Workers' compensation experience is preferred; however, strong litigation experience in another practice area may be considered.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation abilities.Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines.Strong attention to detail and case-management skills.Commitment to providing exceptional client service.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.Performance-based bonus opportunities.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with employer contribution/matching.Life insurance.Paid time off and paid holidays.Continuing legal education and professional development opportunities.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Opportunities for career growth and advancement.Work ArrangementIn-person position
