Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital RN experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Must-Have: - Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital RN experience - BLS, ACLS & PALS Description: This position is for a travel RN specializing in Interventional Radiology. The usual work hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The unit involves image-guided procedures, including invasive procedures in Interventional Radiology, CT, and Ultrasound. Experience with MRI, anesthesia, and pacemaker observation is preferred. Ideal candidates will possess flexibility, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Attention to patient care experience is a priority. Staffing includes approximately 11 RNs on day shift with additional night shift on-call. Typical procedures performed on the unit may include catheter and stent placements. This role requires strong collaboration within a team-oriented environment. Shift includes one day of call each week and every third weekend. Candidates with previous medical imaging experience will be prioritized.
