Patient Safety Observer: Day Shift Care Champion
St. Joseph's Medical Center
St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston, TX is seeking a Patient Safety Observer to provide direct, continuous observation of high-risk patients.
This role emphasizes safety, situational awareness, and clear communication with the care team under supervision of nursing staff. The successful candidate will monitor patients for falls, elopement, self-harm, or other safety concerns, maintain patient comfort and privacy, and report changes in status to the nursing team.
