Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ED and Med-Surg settings; perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Float between ED and Med-Surg units as needed to meet patient needs and acuity
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy; monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and families; communicate changes in patient condition promptly
- Document thoroughly in EPIC EMR; ensure accurate, compliant charting and billing information
- Uphold patient safety initiatives and infection control practices; participate in rapid response and crisis management as needed

Requirements
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Ability to float between ED and Med-Surg settings
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts with rotating days/nights; includes weekends and holidays
- Experience in emergency department and/or medical-surgical settings preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in a rural/critical access hospital environment in Hawaii
