Diverse Staffing is hiring a Receiving Associate for a warehouse operation in Lebanon, IN. This role is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, updating warehouse records, and organizing materials for efficient storage and distribution.
This is primarily a receiving and inventory position. Forklift operation is only an occasional part of the role.

Job Duties

Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders and shipping documentation
Inspect materials for damage, shortages, and discrepancies
Update inventory records and receiving transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS)
Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations
Verify labels, packaging, counts, and shipment accuracy
Assist with material movement and occasional forklift operation as needed

Must-Have Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, or shipping experience
Experience using inventory systems or WMS software
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work overtime as required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Steel-toe boots required

Preferred Qualifications

Previous receiving experience
Forklift experience
Forklift certification
Distribution center or warehouse experience

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and moving materials
Ability to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as required

Work Environment

Temperature-controlled warehouse environment
Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday
Occasional forklift operation
Regular exposure to warehouse traffic and material movement
PPE required, including steel-toe boots
Focus on receiving, inventory control, and product organization
