Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and a minimum of 1 year of related experience are required.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Performs comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, forming the basis of individualized care plans.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify educational needs and goals related to diagnoses.
• Documents all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record in accordance with policy.
• Participates in patient rehabilitation activities and directs direct patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating.
• Initiates discharge planning and patient education starting from the day of admission.
• Communicates patient status updates to support continuity of care, including handoffs to physicians and team members.
• Provides supervision and training to ancillary nursing staff, using problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ensures personal and environmental safety following hospital and nursing policies.
• Contributes positively to team dynamics by providing calm leadership and reassurance.
• Maintains open communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs.
• Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation.
• Engages in ongoing professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Prioritizes activities and manages time effectively to meet patient needs.
