How You Will Make An Impact:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects supporting capital markets, trading, risk, operations, and regulatory functions.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, product owners, operations, compliance, risk, and external vendors.
• Translate business objectives into clearly defined project scope, requirements, deliverables, and success measures.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, working groups, status reviews, and executive steering committee updates.
• Identify project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, and drive timely mitigation and resolution.
• Manage delivery across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, release planning, implementation readiness, and change management activities.
• Monitor project financials, forecasts, resource utilization, and vendor performance.
• Ensure projects comply with internal controls, technology standards, regulatory expectations, and audit requirements.
• Produce clear executive-level reporting on project status, risks, decisions, and business outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement of project management practices, governance processes, and delivery standards.

Do You Bring Proven Success in Capital Markets Technology Project Delivery?

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, finance, business, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of project management experience, including significant experience delivering technology initiatives within banking, capital markets, investment banking, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of capital markets products and workflows, including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives, securities, or trade lifecycle processes.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional technology projects from initiation through production implementation.
• Working knowledge of front-office, middle-office, and back-office systems and their integration points.
• Experience with project governance, financial tracking, risk management, dependency management, and executive reporting.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with software development, infrastructure, data, testing, cybersecurity, operations, and business teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to identify delivery risks early and drive issues through resolution.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, or similar platforms.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, or comparable project management certification is preferred.
• Experience with regulatory, risk, controls, platform modernization, cloud migration, or trade processing initiatives is a strong advantage.
