Rate Range: $45.00 - $48/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark/Snowpark, Snowflake, AWS, and modern data orchestration frameworks. This role requires hands-on development, performance tuning, data modeling, and collaboration across multiple teams to support enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze, design, develop, and deploy data pipelines across various environments.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets.
• Convert and modernize SQL-based logic into PySpark/Snowpark implementations.
• Build scalable data processing solutions with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and efficiency.
• Design and implement data integration and orchestration workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Understand existing Java and SQL-based applications and enhance functionality as required.
• Implement and support Change Data Capture (CDC) processes.
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support activities.
• Contribute to API integration and data service development initiatives.

Required Skills
• Strong SQL development experience with complex query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and Snowpark.
• Experience with data science libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Strong understanding of data pipeline architecture and ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Experience with AWS services including S3 and EC2.
• Hands-on experience with Linux commands and shell scripting.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools and scheduling platforms such as Autosys.
• Knowledge of CDC (Change Data Capture) concepts and implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working as an individual contributor in an agile environment.

Preferred Skills
• Talend development experience.
• Hands-on Java development experience.
• Exposure to Angular.
• Understanding of REST APIs and API design principles.
• Experience with enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Big Data, or Data Platform development.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments.
