Molding Supervisor

My client, located in Murfreesboro, TN, is looking for a Molding Supervisor to join its team. The ideal candidate will give technical support, training help to molding manager, shift leaders and mold technicians, to increase their knowledge in molding process, knows their requirements, necessities, limitations and encourage the growth of production indicators and problem-solving during production. Qualifications:

• BS preferred. High school diploma, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Supervisory training or 3?5 years experience.
• 3?5 years experience in Paint or Molding area.
• Experience with Exterior plastics
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to apply critical and analytical thinking
• Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration
• Ability to manage people
• Results oriented

Responsibilities:

• Guarantee safety during production shift
• Verify correct production parameters
• Define and set up actions to maintain and improve the current performance of production
• Participates in the quality and productivity problem solving and continuous Improvement teams
• Responsible for maintaining discipline and keeping the production areas clean and organized
• Coordination with Maintenance to guarantee correct machinery performance
• Complete and follow the procedures and instructions of quality, environmental and safety
• Ensure operators follow the current work instructions
• Manage labor team
• Ensure all operators are trained on the company training procedures
• Responsible that all production reporting
• Work with the different departments in the plant to meet production and quality standards
• Support Lean activities
• Ensure all parts on the Containment list are properly Certified in a timely manner
• Ensure Operators are following all labeling procedures and properly labeling all parts before leaving the work area
