Production Support Specialist

Location: Chicago, IL (3 days & 2 days onsite)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of Production/Application Support experience .
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on production troubleshooting experience.
• Strong Unix/Linux knowledge.
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
• Working knowledge of ITIL and Incident Management processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, project, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-regional/global team environment .
• Hands-on experience with:
• ITRS
• Dynatrace
• Splunk
• ITSM tools
• JIRA
• Working knowledge of Autosys and BOB job scheduling.
• Python scripting knowledge for automation and operational support.
• Strong experience troubleshooting production applications, feeds, and batch processes.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Financial Services / Banking industry experience.
• Strong understanding of the Market Risk domain.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Operations/support experience with Windows OS .
• Working knowledge of Tableau .
• Experience with Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery testing.
• Experience identifying and implementing production-support automation opportunities.
