Referrals Coordinator, Day Shift, Outpatient Wellness Clinic

As a Referrals Coordinator you will:
• Receive and review referrals and requests for new patients at the OWC.
• Outreach new patients and their families/representatives to discuss recommended services, gather demographic and insurance information, obtain necessary clinical information, explain OWC processes and procedures, and schedule patient for intake as appropriate.
• Obtain necessary insurance authorizations for new OWC patients.
• Communicate and collaborate professionally with colleagues and referral partners to close the loop on new patient requests and referrals
• Serve as back-up coverage as needed for OWC front desk team.

Qualifications Include:
• High school diploma required; Associates degree or higher preferred
• 6+ months of professional experience in a healthcare setting required; behavioral health setting preferred
• Bilingual Spanish - preferred

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week

• Typical Daily Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-3:00pm.

• Shift Type: Day Shift

• Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay Range:

$20.51 - $27.21

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
