General Information

Number of Beds: 71

Experience: First-time travelers should have at least 2 years of experience with Cerner or EPIC and Level I or II Trauma experience. Candidates with 3+ years of Level III Trauma experience at a facility with 300+ beds will also be considered. Experienced travelers are required to have a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience (ICU, ER), with the most recent year in a Level I or II ER. Cerner or EPIC experience is preferred.

Orientation

Travelers who are new to the facility or those returning after more than one year will have 24 hours of classroom time followed by 24 hours on the unit. Rehires will have their orientation duration based on their last date of employment.

Scheduling

• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend or 4 weekend days per month if on a block schedule
• Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday as per policy
• Approval of time off: Up to 7 days off can be approved (excluding blackout dates)
• Shift Times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, 3p-3a
• Schedule Cycle: 4 weeks
