- Performing thorough evaluations of patients, ordering necessary diagnostics, and developing personalized care strategies
- Identifying and managing acute, chronic, and episodic health concerns, either in partnership with physicians or independently, as suited to your qualifications
- Guiding patients and their families about wellness, prevention, and chronic illness management
- Prescribing appropriate medications and treatment plans within your practice guidelines
- Engaging in ongoing patient follow-ups and managing long-term care
- Collaborating with diverse teams to provide integrated and comprehensive services
- Maintaining meticulous documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical judgement combined with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Strong communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Flexibility in a dynamic, patient-focused environment
- Familiarity with EMR programs and comfort with telehealth technologies
