If that sounds good to you, keep reading to learn more!QUALIFICATIONS21+ years of age2+ years of experience driving in all weather conditionsValid driver's license (Class D Non-CDL), a clean driving record, and the ability to drive a van or box truckDOT medical card or an ability to obtain oneHigh school degree or equivalentAbility to safely lift 50 lbs. following proper lifting techniquesAbility to wear required PPE, stand/sit for extended periods, and work in various environments (office, manufacturing, retail, laboratory, etc.)Basic math skills and proficiency with tape measuresProficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, the ability to type 25+ wpm, and experience using an ERPWhile not required, we would prefer that our Driver - Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist have some experience in/knowledge about logistics, supply chain, and hydraulic systems/components. Some overtime may be required. Travel is required to customers' locations, sometimes up to 1.5 hours drive one-way. This role blends driving, inventory pulling, data analysis, and customer service responsibilities (and additional tasks as assigned). Depending on the day, you could:Monitor customers' inventory stock levels and review biannual reports with key contactsMaintain accurate inventory records in our systemAnalyze data, identify trends, and speak with customers about their needs to proactively generate replenishment ordersSafely drive products to customers' locations and provide professional, respectful customer serviceProvide on-site support as neededGenerate reports for customers and managementSwiftly identify and resolve supply chain issues, product delays, record discrepancies, unhappy customers, and moreCollaborate with sales and business development teams to brainstorm new potential products and revenue growth strategiesPerform hands-on receiving, pulling, stocking, and general warehouse activitiesParticipate in ongoing training and development initiativesHOW TO APPLYAre you the Driver - Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist we need?
