What You'll Do

• Perform hospital-based interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
• Support a multi-disciplinary team with additional procedures for Orthopedics, Gynecology, and Urology as needed
• Handle an average of 8 cases per day in a Level I trauma center
• Provide coverage during scheduled call shifts, including nights and weekends
• Collaborate with IR support staff, including two APPs and a manager
• Participate in patient care management and documentation using hospital EMR systems

What You Need

Required:

• Current medical license and certification in radiology
• Board certification in radiology with subspecialty in interventional procedures
• At least 2 years of experience in interventional radiology procedures
• Ability to handle adult patient demographic, including geriatric cases

Preferred:

• Experience with a wide range of IR procedures and trauma cases
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital setting
