P-Card Program Coordinator, Purchasing and Contracts The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a P-Card Program Coordinator. The Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive operational and administrative duties for the effective delivery and continuous improvement of the PCard Program. The role plays a key part in program compliance, stakeholder engagement, reporting, training, and process optimization to maintain strong financial controls and enhance overall program performance. The program provides oversight and monitoring for 1,100 cardholders across multiple campuses, and processes approximately 75,000 transactions totaling about $25 million annually. Responsibilities Develop, design, and maintain onboarding and training materials for cardholders and key stakeholders participating in the PCard Program. Deliver engaging and effective training sessions tailored to diverse audiences across the organization. Manage and maintain training resources and documentation within the learning management system. Provide frontline customer service (email and phone) and apply policies and procedures across a wide range of business scenarios and operational needs. Serve as a central point of contact for program-related questions, issue resolution, and policy clarification. Collaborate with campus partners and cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with program policies and procedures. Create and distribute departmental communications, job aids, and procedural documentation to support program operations. Oversee document retention processes and maintain accurate program records in accordance with established requirements. Support audit activities and internal control initiatives to strengthen program integrity and compliance. Required Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and professionally to diverse audiences. Independent research abilities and the capacity to engage with subject matter experts to support informed decision‑making. Proficiency in PowerPoint or similar presentation software for developing impactful presentations and training materials. Proficiency in Excel for performing data analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and program monitoring activities. Analytical skills to evaluate processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency. Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and make sound, timely decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation). 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in higher education. Experience in Purchasing, PCard operations, or within ERP and PCard systems. Knowledge of NSHE/UNLV financial policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements. Advanced skills in PowerPoint for creating presentations. Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $61,000 – $69,700, or commensurate with the labor market.
