Founded in 2012, Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a private practice group of board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons delivering personalized, high-quality care across 18 locations in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Our team specializes in sports medicine, joint replacement, arthroscopy, work-related injuries, and advanced orthopedic care, partnering closely with patients to help them return to an active, pain-free lifestyle.
About the Role:
Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to support patient rehabilitation across our orthopedic clinics. This role focuses on evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals
- Deliver hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and rehabilitation programs
- Educate patients and families on recovery, injury prevention, and home exercise programs
- Document care plans, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical team members to ensure coordinated care
- Adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current state Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or sports medicine preferred
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient education skills
