Plant Operations Assistant

Avista Senior Living - - Responsibilities: Perform a wide variety of building maintenance and mechanical work including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, interior and exterior painting, masonry, drywall repair, HVAC, small appliance and minor equipment repair; Utilize TELS work orders and promptly respond to on-going maintenance and repair issues; Performs routine maintenance and repairs on the community and equipment; Ensures that work/assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored before leaving such areas on breaks, end of work day, etc.; Promotes a team effort ~ Participate in our On-Call rotation schedule to assure the building is covered 24/7; Prepare, and assure all apartments/rooms are rent-ready before new residents move into the Community; Walk the community at least weekly and identify areas that need repair or maintenance and follow-up on corrective actions
