Base pay range Locally owned company, that’s been in business for over 25 years. Largest automotive reconditioning company in Tennessee is expanding and is in need of a qualified and professional automotive paint technicians. Pay: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per week Benefits: Responsibilities Traveling to dealerships for on-site cosmetic repair. Inspecting vehicles to be painted for repair. Prepping and/or buffing defects. Mixing paint to specific color using standard formulas or color charts. Painting, sanding, masking, blending and/or polishing finish and retouching as needed. Qualifications High School diploma. Need to have a valid driver's license & good driving record Ability to interact with co-workers and customers. Have at least two years of experience as an auto painter, prepping, and/or collision repair technician. Must be detail oriented. Must be an active listener and exercise sound judgment. Must be a good multi-tasker. The ability to follow complex instructions is a plus. Should have ample knowledge of safety precautions. Work Environment Must be able to work with strong detergents and chemicals. Time is spent working outside in both hot and cold weather conditions. Must be willing to wear gloves and eye and ear protection. In exchange for your hard work, attention to detail, and professionalism we offer a 40-hour minimum work week, Monday through Friday. Pay is highly competitive, paint leads earn up to 30% of gross bill out. Paint technicians work in teams of two and assist one another in completing jobs.
