Warehouse Material HandlerReceives, stores, recycles, ships, and transports warehoused goods and products by performing the following duties.ResponsibilitiesOperate Stand-Up Forklifts and Turret Forklifts to handle materials and transport them to and from various locations within the warehouse.Safely load and unload materials onto and off pallets, platforms, racks, and shelves using forklifts.Willing and able to perform all duties of Material Handler I as requiredPrimary Responsibilities (60 % or more time in one or more of the following):Operates motorized equipment, including, but not limited to forklift, clamp, (see required certifications), cherry-pickers, motorized pallet jack, etc.Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track productDisassembles, reassembles, or repairs products, materials or equipmentSorts, bales, weighs, loads, and recycles materials based on customer specificationsProven experience operating Stand-Up Forklifts and Turret Forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, sufficient education to read, comprehend, and act upon verbal and written information requiredMore than 4 years of related experience in warehousing or logistics industry requiredMore than 4 of years of Forklift experience requiredForklift Certificate RequiredTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
