Vivvi is not your typical daycare or preschool! We're reinventing child care and early learning for today's families and creating opportunities for educators to do what they love (and feel valued while they're doing it). Become a part of the Vivvi founding team at a brand new 24-hour child care center on Toyota's new campus in Liberty, N.C., to help build the quality program children deserve while pursuing your own professional growth and development.

About The Role

As an Education Director you'll:

  • Ensure the ongoing delivery of a developmentally appropriate emergent curriculum
  • Train new teachers on the Vivvi Learning Model, a child-centered, inquiry-based approach
  • Provide mentorship and model best practices for faculty members, including conducting regular performance evaluations and facilitating meaningful professional development opportunities
  • Manage a team of Mentor Teachers to support curriculum implementation across the school
  • Support all aspects of relationship-building and enrollment with families, including communication through Brightwheel
  • Assist the Head of School with compliance systems and ensure adherence to applicable health, safety, and licensing requirements
  • Foster and promote Vivvi's inclusive environment throughout all aspects of the school
  • Serve as Head of School in their absence

  • Enjoy working with young learners, and see every child as infinitely capable
  • Have 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree; ECE or a related field is preferred
  • Hold a NC Administration Credential Level I
  • Have deep expertise in emergent- or inquiry-based curricula and a progressive approach to early childhood education
  • Are knowledgeable of licensing requirements for early childhood programs
  • Value and create strong relationships with families, children, and faculty
  • Possess excellent leadership skills including the ability to define goals and motivate staff towards success
