Production Scheduler

Production SchedulerDaily Responsibilities:Schedule customer orders and create production schedules that meet customer due dates and shipment forecastsEnsure smooth workflow through the shop by coordinating with Production Supervisor and Shift LeadsMaintain up-to-date order and manufacturing dates in current reportsAlert Production Supervisor promptly if due dates can't be met or schedules need adjustment, explaining the reasonsMonitor jobs closely to identify potential delays early and allow time for corrective actionCollaborate with Production Supervisor and Inventory Control to requisition necessary parts and materialsDevelop supply schedules that balance customer demand with inventory levels and resource useNegotiate and resolve conflicts related to material availability and scheduling prioritiesSuggest and implement improvements to scheduling processesPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:Associate's Degree with 3+ years experience OR 5+ years relevant experience3+ years in supply chain or operations managementProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detailSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pmOne Interview with Express = Endless Job Opportunities!Express Employment Professionals puts people to work in all types of jobs.
