Inventory Specialist

Inventory Specialist Location: Mt. Juliet, TN, USA Pay Range: $19.00

YOUR ROLE

Are you known for your attention to detail and passionate about inventory management? This role involves performing inventory reconciliations and identifying and resolving discrepancies.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Run inventory reports using WMS program queries and transfer data to Count Sheet templates and shared network. Print Count Sheets in location sequence and conduct physical inventory counts; record quantities onto Count Sheets and enter count results into system. Research inventory discrepancies by cycle counting discrepant items and run transaction history to identify last product locations. Search Staging areas, perform Empty location audits, record and report results, and report findings to supervisor or designated representative. Assist in other areas such as operations, shipping, and receiving as needed.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; less than one year related experience. Credentials: Forklift Driver certification; valid state‑issued driver’s license preferred. Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web‑based and job‑specific software applications. Accurate typing and data entry; ability to perform arithmetic in all units of measure. Characteristics: Prompt and professional response to customer needs, readable and written basic correspondence, and timely problem resolution.
