Litigation Associate

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Litigation Associate to help maintain our firm’s operations and support the team’s success. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of litigation (fact investigation, pleadings, discovery, experts, motions, pretrial, trial, settlement and so on), and develop and maintain strong business and client relationships for a diverse caseload. Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions. Manage depositions including preparation and defense of client, and taking fact and expert witness depositions. Collaborate with partners, associates, and paralegals to assist in preparation for and conduct of trials and other evidentiary hearings, and to guide strategic decisions in complex litigation matters. Participate in active trials, on- site accident investigations, and provide other legal support, as needed. Qualifications: Active California Bar License, in good standing. 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in insurance defense and/or litigation. Experience in handling complex litigation matters, personal injury experience preferred. Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software, such as Centerbase and NetDocuments. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines. Team player with a positive attitude.
