Role Description The Escrow Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Indian Shores, FL, supporting escrow officers and the broader escrow team in processing commercial and residential real estate transactions. Daily responsibilities include opening and setting up new escrow files, reviewing contracts and related documents, and preparing escrow instructions, settlement statements, and other transaction paperwork. The role coordinates with lenders, buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and internal departments to obtain required information, clear title issues, and ensure all conditions are met for closing. The Escrow Assistant will handle data entry, document tracking, file maintenance, and scheduling of closings, as well as process deposits, disbursements, payoffs, and wire transfers in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This position also responds to customer inquiries, provides status updates, and helps maintain a professional, organized closing experience from file opening through post-closing follow-up. Qualifications Strong knowledge of escrow processes and procedures, with experience supporting real estate transactions and closings. Demonstrated experience assisting with real estate closings, including reviewing documents, preparing settlement statements, and coordinating closing logistics. Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, lenders, agents, and internal team members. Notary Public commission (or eligibility to obtain) in the State of Florida. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with title and escrow software systems, Microsoft Office applications, and electronic document management tools. Familiarity with real estate, title, and escrow terminology; prior experience in title insurance, settlement, or financial services is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in real estate, finance, or a related field is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
