Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsement as a Certified School Nurse (CSN); more than an RN license required
• Completion of CSN coursework (typically 1-2 years)
• Previous experience as a Certified School Nurse is highly valued
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a major plus
• Flexible, dependable, and collaborative mindset
• Strong attendance and reliability

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all functions of the school health office
• Complete comprehensive medical reviews for students
• Actively contribute to IEP and 504 planning and meetings
• Foster a positive and supportive environment among the health team
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure privacy compliance
