About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its network of high schools. The CEO will be responsible for maintaining the organization's vision, stewarding its strategy, and accelerating progress toward 2030 goals. This includes engaging with the board, leadership team, staff, partners, and the community to advance a shared strategic direction. The successful candidate will be a passionate, student-centered leader with a track record of delivering measurable results and a commitment to the potential of every student. They will be tasked with building strong teams and leaders, investing in their growth, and ensuring a culture of care, accountability, and collaboration. The role also involves raising significant funds, cultivating partnerships, and driving innovation to scale the organization's impact. Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have at least 12 years of leadership experience in a K-12, charter management organization, nonprofit, or education-adjacent environment. The ideal candidate will be an emotionally intelligent and relational leader, capable of mobilizing others around shared goals and balancing support with accountability. Experience in philanthropic, civic, business, and political sectors is essential for cultivating influential partnerships and attracting funding. The CEO must be deeply committed to equity, with a proven ability to drive whole-student success and accelerate student growth. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree, and a strong background in education and a passion for the mission of closing the college attainment gap.
