Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have at least 12 years of leadership experience in a K-12, charter management organization, nonprofit, or education-adjacent environment. The ideal candidate will be an emotionally intelligent and relational leader, capable of mobilizing others around shared goals and balancing support with accountability. Experience in philanthropic, civic, business, and political sectors is essential for cultivating influential partnerships and attracting funding. The CEO must be deeply committed to equity, with a proven ability to drive whole-student success and accelerate student growth. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree, and a strong background in education and a passion for the mission of closing the college attainment gap.
