Sinai Internal Medicine Specialists is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in The Villages and Wildwood FL. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health outcomes in a collaborative, patient-centered and friendly environment. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality internal medicine care, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic evaluations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within an internal medicine setting
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and manage pharmacological treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on disease management, prevention, and wellness strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with specialists and ancillary services
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain)
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP)
- Experience in internal medicine, primary care, or a related clinical setting preferred
- DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care
