Group Lead Assembly

Group Lead AssemblyEfficiently assemble products as well as lead team members by training, assigning work, and keeping assembly lines flowing under the direction of the Focus Factory Manager. Key tasks include maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and cost boards, performing abnormal work in the assembly line, maintaining a neat and orderly work area, attending daily/weekly meetings with Manager, accurately recording standard times and quantities of production orders, providing spreadsheet reports of standard times per line daily to Manager, assisting Manager with training and retraining team members, assigning individual work assignments to team members in the production area, inspecting the Bill of Materials for accuracy, performing first unit inspections for compliance with work instructions and quality, assisting Assembly Manager with keeping the assembly line flowing to meet production goals/efficiencies, executing production orders, adding shipping labels to appropriate boxes, coordinating with shipping department on completed orders for the day, following all security rules and safety policies, following the instructions and quality guidelines, learning and performing manual tool operations, paying attention to detail when completing the required work efforts, and working with others in a team environment.Skills and minimum experience required include secondary education or equivalent experience, ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations, ability to lift to 30 pounds, excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, self-motivated and sense of urgency, good communication skills, ability to prioritize, fast and self-initiating learning, and ability to perform basic mathematics. Preferred skills and experience include bi-lingual English/Spanish, electronic experience, computer skills including basic Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Teams, and flexibility to work overtime as needed.Physical requirements include medium work.
