WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Utica, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top‑tier clinical team while advancing your career in a fast‑paced acute care environment.

Job Function:

• Shift: 2x3 Nights (36 hours)
• Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations.
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
• Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document. electronic data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in MedSurg/Oncology documented on an up-to-date resume.

• Travel experience is strictly required (must be documented on the resume).

• A completed Skills Checklist matching the MedSurg / Oncology specialty.

• Active New York RN License (plus NURSYS verification for all held RN licenses).

• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support).

• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.

• Chemo Certification is required.

• EPIC EMR experience is required.
